St. Patrick’s Day in St. Paul
St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) is a popular holiday in St. Paul and if you are driving into the MPF Convention that day, we encourage you to arrive early – or even better, come in on Tuesday, March 16 and stay over. You’ll be able to attend the MPF Welcome Reception and won’t need to be concerned about traffic or parking on March 17.
A parade will run March 17 from about 12-1 p.m. in downtown St. Paul and some streets will be closed during this time. Parade route posted here. Please be aware of the increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic in downtown St. Paul on March 17.

Minnesota Wild – NHL Hockey
The Minnesota Wild NHL hockey team plays two home games during the week of the 2010 MPF Convention:
- Sunday, March 14 vs. St. Louis (5 p.m. game time)
- Tuesday, March 16 vs. Edmonton (7 p.m. game time)
